+Walldorf itself is a quiet SAP company town, but it sits in one of Germany's most rewarding day-trip zones — the Neckar Valley, Heidelberg, and the northern Black Forest are all within 30 minutes.

+- **Heidelberg** (20 min) — Heidelberg Castle ruins above the old town, the Philosophenweg (Philosopher's Walk) along the hillside, the Alte Brücke over the Neckar. Easily half a day.
